WILD DONKEY is based on the concept of “Farm to Table", uses local ingredients, and uses a fresh and uncomplicated French healing cooking style to cook unique local dishes.

低調又奢華的歐式裝潢
從外面看進去非常的舒適高級
內部裝潢跟氣氛也很適合情人聚餐、生日慶祝或是家庭聚餐

Low-key and luxurious European-style decoration. It looks very comfortable and high-end from the outside. The interior decoration and atmosphere are also suitable for lovers’ gatherings, birthday celebrations or family gatherings.

入座後可以選擇兩種水
一種是普通的白開水
或是可以選氣泡水
每個人的水資是NT$80/位

After seated, you can choose two types of water. One is plain water. Or you can choose sparkling water. The water fee is NT$80 per person.

連結台灣在地的風土、漁貨及農牧
延續台灣在地文化特色與歷史所呈現出來的料理精神
全程以直火烹調、純粹不複雜的法式烹飪技巧與料理哲學
來傳遞對在地生態循環的重視

Chef Fudy Chen has a farm in Shenkeng, New Taipei City. He grows different vegetables every season. He want to let customer eats the most seasonal dishes as the seasons change. Therefore, he updates the menu accordingly. The chef uses WILD DONKEY as a platform to connect Taiwan’s local customs, fishery, and agriculture and animal husbandry. He continues the cooking spirit presented by Taiwan’s local cultural characteristics and history. He uses direct fire cooking, pure and uncomplicated French cooking techniques and cooking philosophy throughout the process to convey his emphasis on the local ecological cycle.

開胃菜大概介於NT$500-600左右
麵食有分小份(1-2人)跟大份(3-4人)
主餐的部分大致上也是1-2人的份量
另外還有加收服務費以及水資費

Appetizers are around NT$500-600. Noodles has small size (1-2 people) and a large size (3-4 people). Main dishes are also roughly for 1-2 people. There are also have the service charges and water charges.

餐前麵包
Appetizer Bread

簡單的餐前酸種麵包
未烤過的麵包搭配著奶油一起吃
有一種酸酸又甜甜的感覺
外皮酥脆麵包本體很軟
我個人是比較喜歡其他的餐點

Simple sourdough bread before the appetizer. Unbaked bread eaten with butter. It has a sour and sweet taste. The crust is crispy and the bread itself is soft. I personally prefer other dishes.

Chicken Liver Mousse with Saba and Wildflower Honey Sourdough Toast NTD$380

這個的酸種麵包跟餐前麵包
口感就不太一樣了
搭配鵝肝的酸種麵包是烤過的
而且因為烤過後更香了
搭配鵝肝的鹹味
馬上吃下去就開胃了

The sourdough bread here has a different taste from the bread before the meal. The sourdough bread with foie gras is toasted. It is more fragrant after being toasted. It is paired with the salty taste of foie gras. It is appetizing right away.

爐烤牛肉薄片與台東黑鮪魚醬和青龍椒 NT$560
Roast Beef with Taidong Tonnato Sauce and Sweet Chili NT$560

這道料理非常入口即化
薄薄一片加上酸豆跟青椒
增加了脆脆的口感
搭著酸味及黑鮪魚醬
整個肉的風味層次都豐富了起來

This dish is very melt-in-your-mouth delicious. A thin slice with capers and green peppers adds a crunchy texture. Paired with the sour taste and black tuna sauce, the flavor of the meat is enriched.

龜山島胭脂蝦與大蒜、辣椒 NT$480
Guishan Island Gamba Prawn with Garlic and Chili NT$480

蝦子沒有開背是唯一的缺點
因為這樣外面的香料才會更入味
不過因為配料實在是太香了
所以我個人是蠻喜歡這道料理

The only drawback is that the shrimps are not opened. This way the spices on the outside will not be more flavorful. However, the ingredients are so fragrant. So I personally like this dish.

燉嘉義牛舌與奶玉米 NT$580
Braised Chiayi BeefTongue with Creamed Corn NT$580

個人私心最喜歡這道
牛舌非常入味且有嚼勁
加上奶味很重的玉米真的非常絕配

I personally like this dish the most. The beef tongue is very tasty and chewy. It is a perfect match with the corn with a strong milky flavor.

義大利細麵與蛤蠣(大) NT$780
Linguine with Clams NT$780

份量沒有想像中多
不過也算是好吃的一道料理
蒜味濃厚加上寬細麵
搭配檸檬擠上去會更好吃

The portion is not as big as expected. However, it is still a delicious dish. The garlic flavor is strong and the noodles are wide. It tastes better when squeezed with lemon.

我們這次是點五分熟
上面的大蒜烤得很香
大蒜味非常香濃
真希望能多給一點
下面的肋眼外皮比較脆一點
店員是推薦三分熟
因為我們比較不敢吃生
所以點了五分熟
外皮比較硬 內部很軟
加上普通的鹽就很好吃了

We ordered medium rare this time. The garlic on top was roasted very fragrantly. The garlic flavor was very strong. I really wish they could give it a little more. The rib eye skin below was a little crispier. The waiter recommended rare. Since we are afraid to eat it too raw, we ordered medium rare. The skin is hard on the outside and very soft on the inside. It tastes very good with normal salt.

手工焦糖布丁與煉乳醬、花生糖
Flan with Dulce de Leche and Candied Peanuts

吃完這道甜點後
完全變成心中第一名
布丁綿密搭配上層的煉乳、花生糖
除了口感很特殊之外
很神奇的是花生跟布丁很搭
也不會因為這樣過甜
讓人忍不住一口接一口

After eating this dessert, it has become my favorite. The pudding is dense and paired with condensed milk and peanut candy on top. In addition to the special taste, the amazing thing is that peanuts and pudding go well together. It is not too sweet, so you can’t help but eat it one bite after another.
